Change Shipment Mode

Wouldn't it be of significant benefit if your import customer could easily change the shipping mode? The initial purchase order may direct the goods to ship by ocean, but circumstances often change.

• Circumstances change after the order is shipped by the supplier and the order is needed much earlier. HCB, as your U.S. FPPI Agent, can easily have the cargo routing changed from ocean to air.
• Changing the mode after it is shipped from the supplier would be either impossible or very difficult, and likely more costly for the seller to accommodate, when terms other than routed transaction are involved.
